Josh Griffis Works Toward NFL Draft Selection

A football player with an intense work ethic, Josh Griffis played as a Defensive End for Tarleton State University during the 2023 season. By building on his leadership and athletic experiences, Josh Griffis strives to enter the NFL draft.

Since Josh Griffis began high school football, he earned recognition from national institutions. While attending Clay High School and Bradford High School, where he played as a Defensive End between 2015 and 2017, he received his first scholarship offer from the University of Florida at 15 years old. He also joined IMG Academy, a football training program, where he earned the 3-Star National Recruit ranking. Before he graduated, he also received more than 15 Scholarship Offers from schools in the Power 4: the SEC (Southeastern Conference), Big Ten Conference, Big 12 Conference, and the ACC (Atlantic Coast Conference).

When Mr. Griffis transitioned to college football, he intensified his training. At Florida State University, he gained experience by playing as a Defensive End between 2020 and 2021, and earned the team the SWAC Championship. As a Defensive End at Tarleton State University, he not only executed the most sacks and turnovers, earning All-Conference honors, but honed his leadership skills. Josh Griffis began developing defensive game plan strategies, analyzing footage of teammates, and engaging in player development.
